1. All applicants can only apply for commissioning operations at the beginning. Those who have enrolled in courses and passed the certification will have the fields 'Training Date' and 'Certification Date' entered. Only machines marked with this indication are eligible to select the option for self-operation and schedule the use of instruments.
2. After logging in, you can view the status of each instrument and its current condition (e.g., operational, under maintenance, etc.). Please read the rules for each instrument carefully before making a reservation. For example, some machines may require prior discussion with technical staff, regarding the sample before deciding whether to accept the commission. If someone reserves a commission without contacting technical staff first, technical staff reserves the right to decide whether to accept the commission or not.

3. Each instrument will have a different number of reservation slots available, depending on the length of the experiment. Please read the instructions above the reservation schedule for each instrument. Generally, the reservation period is within one month. If you are unable to use the instrument due to unexpected circumstances, please make sure to cancel the reservation online at least 2 days in advance. Failure to show up for a reservation may result in a fine. If a user has more than 3 instances of no-show reservations in a month, their privileges may be suspended to protect the rights of other users.
4. If you wish to operate the instrument yourself, please click on "Reserve Self-Operation Time" (預約自行操作時段) to book a slot for self-operation. If you want to commission someone else to operate the instrument on your behalf, then click on "Reserve Commissioned Operation Time" (預約委託操作時段) to schedule a slot for commissioning. After clicking the respective option, you will be able to view the time table for the current month and proceed with your reservation accordingly.
5. Operation Instructions:
   • Self-Operation: ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Choose a suitable time for yourself, check the box next to the desired time slot, and then click on "Reserve After Checking Time Slot"(勾選時段後按此預約) to confirm your reservation. Once confirmed, your reservation is successful. If the time slot has already been reserved by someone else, it cannot be checked, so please choose another time slot. 
   • Commissioned Operation: Before reserving a commission, it is essential to contact the technical staff to confirm whether the desired time slot is suitable for both yourself and the technical staff. After confirmation, check the box next to the desired time slot, and then click on "Reserve After Checking Time Slot." (勾選時段後按此預約)  Fill in the name of the technical staff, and your reservation will be successful. If the time slot has already been reserved by someone else, it cannot be checked, so please choose another time slot. In case you haven't contacted the technical staff, they have the right to delete this reservation request.

6. For those who have passed the certification, if they have not used the instrument for more than 3 months, they will need to attend the training workshop and certification again to ensure their familiarity with operating the instrument. This requirement aims to maintain proficiency and ensure that users are well-equipped with the necessary skills for using the specific instrument.
7. Cancellation of reservations must be done at least two days in advance (cancellations on the same day and the next day are not allowed). To cancel a reservation, click on the "Cancel" button for the respective time slot, and it will be canceled immediately. If you change your mind and want to undo the cancellation, you'll need to rebook the same time slot.

For users who fail to show up for their reserved time slot, they will be charged half of the total reservation cost. This fee is in place to prevent situations where users make reservations and don't show up, thereby affecting the rights of other users who could have used that time slot. If you find yourself unable to come at the reserved time, please make sure to cancel the reservation at least two days in advance to avoid impacting both your rights and the rights of other users.
